Council member, Research Committee
I am a vascular surgeon at the Birmingham Vascular Centre, specialising in aortic pathology with a focus on high-quality care. I am passionate about improving perioperative standards and am actively involved in quality-improvement initiatives.
Beyond the operating theatre, I am engaged in research and education. I contribute to national trials and international collaborations in endovascular therapy, including the BSET-led GLOBALSTAR project. I hold academic and educational roles as Specialty Research Lead for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Specialty Lead for Academic Clinical Training in the West Midlands Deanery, and I am an accredited trainer mentoring the next generation of clinicians.
Innovation and research sit at the core of my practice. I lead the Solihull Surgical Innovation Hub, supporting clinicians to implement innovative solutions that improve clinical services, patient safety, and quality of care. I remain actively involved in regional, national, and international initiatives advancing the field.
