Council member, Education and Fellowship Committee
Hosaam is currently a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at the Birmingham Vascular Centre.He qualified from Liverpool University and completed his vascular training in the West Midlands, followed by the BSET fellowship in Cambridge. During his training he was awarded an MD(Res) for his thesis on the effect of HDL therapy on carotid plaque stabilisation. Hosaam sat on the council for the Rouleaux Club and was elected president of the Rouleaux Club in 2014.
Hosaam is the Deputy CSL for the department and the CLI lead. He is in charge of the complex lower limb endovascular service.
He has been a member of faculty in numerous national and international endovascular courses, and more recently he has been appointed as the educational lead for the West Midlands.
